Dr. Fred Brancati Installed as ACGIM President
On April 9, 2008, Fred Brancati, MD, MHS, chief of Hopkins GIM, was installed as the ninth president of the Association of Chiefs of General Internal Medicine at the ACGIM meeting held in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Society of General Internal Medicine. He pledged to work on two key opportunities: development of new models for the Advanced Medical Home; and training and mentorship of Hospitalists in academic GIM. Congratulations Dr. Brancati!
