Dr. John Flynn Promoted to Professor
GIM's Clinical Director, John Flynn, MD, MBA, FACP has been promoted to the rank of Professor of Medicine on the strength of his achievements as a master clinician, as a program builder, and as an educator. Dr. Flynn already holds the D. William Schlott Professorship, In addition, he holds joint appointments in the departments of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Molecular and Clinical Rheumatology, and in the School of Nursing. Dr. Flynn has recently been in the news for his authorship of the Oxford American Handbook of Clinical Medicine. His research interests focus on arthritis, ambulatory education, and the delivery of primary care in an academic setting. Congratulations, Dr. Flynn! |  |
