Register Now for the 2008 SGIM Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting
Advance registration is now open for the 2008 SGIM Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting. The deadline for advance registration is February 25, 2008.
The 2008 SGIM Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting will take place on Friday March 7, 2008 at the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The meeting theme will be "Access to Care: The Role of the General Internist".
The keynote speaker will be Dr. Kenneth Thompson, Associate Director of Medical Affairs at the Center for Mental Health Services, a branch of the United States Department of Health and Human Services. His talk is entitled “Minding the Body: Access to Mental Healthcare and the Role of the General Internist.”
The meeting will again offer workshops on clinical and educational topics, and oral and poster presentations of clinical vignettes and research projects. For information on submitting research abstracts or clinical vignettes for possible presentation, click here.

There will be no GIM Grand Rounds held on Friday, March 7, 2008 so that those interested may attend the SGIM Mid-Atlantic meeting in Philadelphia.
