GIM Faculty Member Kicks Off Yahoo Health Blog
Dr. Howard Levy, member of the faculty of GIM and of the McKusick-Nathans Institute of Genetic Medicine, has recently initiated a blog on health matters hosted by Yahoo.com. Since going online Dr. Levy’s entries on Yahoo! Health have dealt with aspects of pain management. Titles of the weekly entries include “Psyching Out Your Pain” and “Got Pain? Exercise it Away.”
Dr. Levy promises that over time his blog “will cover just about every body system and type of disease.” One of his stated purposes in addressing the wide public of internet users is to help people realize optimum health by working as a team with their medical providers.
