Green Spring Station
Hopkins GIM at Green Spring Station combines the convenience of a comfortable suburban location just outside the beltway with high quality comprehensive outpatient internal medicine services. All of the physicians are members of the Hopkins Division of General Internal Medicine. Inpatient medical care, when necessary, is provided at Johns Hopkins Hospital, sometimes in conjunction with the expertise offered by the Hospitalist Program. Many of the physicians at Green Spring Station are Clinician-Educators. In addition to taking care of patients, they spend some of their time teaching medical students, residents and other trainees.
The Levine Group is a group practice at Green Spring Station staffed by Johns Hopkins Internal Medicine Clinician-Research physicians who work together as a team. Each physician typically sees patients one half day per week and dedicates the remainder of his/her time to teaching and performing cutting edge research in health care. Every patient has a personal physician in charge of his/her medical care, but all physicians in the group are available to see each other’s patients when necessary for urgent issues.
