The mission of the Johns Hopkins University Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology is to provide the highest quality clinical care, education, and research designed to benefit older adults.
Clinical services
Our staff works to provide care at our facilities as well as in the community. We offer long-term and community care through a number of clinical services, including the Beacham Center’s primary care services, inpatient consultative services, an Individualized Care Program (ElderPlus PACE Program), and the Elder House Call Program. Aging research programs
Whether exploring the biology of healthy aging or studying the health services offered to adults in our society or looking at a multi-disciplinary approach that combines policy and medicine, the Division’s researchers are pushing the level of knowledge and quality of service ever further. Education and training
Known for mentoring and individualized instruction and programs, the Division’s education and training programs, which include summer training, clinical and research fellowships, and continuing education programs, prepare the next generation of medical professionals and researchers to serve an aging society.
