Application Process for Elective Rotation or Observership in
Clinical Genetics
Thank you for your interest in our program. Our faculty sees approximately 1200 patients per year. Our program is well known for its expertise in biochemical genetics, connective tissue disorders, skeletal dysplasias and craniofacial anomalies. Our dysmorphology clinic facilitates referrals for all types of genetic anomalies/syndromes and our doctors are some of the best in the world.
If you are a visiting medical student and you are interested in spending time in our clinic as an observer or to complete an elective, you must complete an Institute of Genetic Medicine application form and submit online. We have many requests from individuals so before we can determine if we can facilitate your needs, we ask that:
- visiting medical students should review JHH information by clicking here
- complete the online application below and
- send us a curriculum vitae and a statement of purpose outlining the goals you hope to achieve during this experience
We are unable to accept applications for clinical rotations from non-JHU physicians. Currently applications are only being considered from medical students, physician assistants, JHU physicians, and clinicians from hospitals that have a reciprocity agreement with JHU.
