The GRCF is an institutional service center of the Johns Hopkins University. The GRCF provides a number of services to aid researchers performing studies in molecular biology and genetics. These include the:
1. CORE Store (a resource which offers appreciable savings and fast delivery of a wide variety of research products)
2. Cell Center (facilitates basic scientific research by providing expertise and service in all aspects of mammalian cell culture)
3. Fragment Analysis Facility (provides technical assistance with genotyping for research purposes, such as polymorphism analysis, microsatellite interpretation and isolation of genomic DNA
4. DNA Analysis Facility (provides DNA sequencing and synthesis)
5. SNP Center (a high through-put genotyping facility featuring Illumina's BeadArrayTM technology--a robust, flexible system which enables the analysis of a large number (1000's) of genotypes using a relatively small quantity of DNA—provides services to JHU and the scientific community at large).
