  ABOUT THE F.A.E. POST-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP:

  • The Functional Anatomy and Evolution Program customarily has a postdoctoral fellow in residence for each school year, with the appointment usually beginning on August 1st. Applicants for the position have generally completed all requirements for their PhD degree by the time of the appointment, and have previous experience in teaching dissection-based human anatomy, along with good computer skills. Duties include giving 1-3 lectures for the human gross anatomy class, helping with lab instruction each day of the class, coordinating computerized evaluation forms and exams (in cross-sectional anatomy), and updating lecture notes on-line. As these duties generally require no more than 6 months of the year, the remainder of the year is available for research and the preparation of publications.
