Richard Redett, M.D.

Dr. Richard Redett, Director, Johns Hopkins Facial Paralysis and Pain CenterDr. Redett graduated from Dartmouth Medical School after earning his undergraduate degree at Emory University.   He did his general surgery and plastic surgery training at Johns Hopkins Hospital.  After completing a one-year pediatric plastic surgery fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada, Dr. Redett joined the faculty at Johns Hopkins Hospital.  His practice is focused on pediatric plastic surgery and adult and pediatric facial paralysis.  Dr. Redett is actively engaged in nerve regeneration research and has published numerous scientific papers and book chapters.  He is Board certified in plastic surgery, and lectures nationally on facial paralysis and pediatric plastic surgery topics.

Dr. Redett has a strong commitment to international health and has done many medical missions to Central and South America.  He and his wife Becky are the proud parents of three wonderful children.
