  Dr. Ann E. Pulver

Ann E. Pulver, Sc.D.,  is a psychiatric epidemiologist and Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. . Dr. Pulver completed her undergraduate studies at Boston University and her doctoral studies at the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health in 1979. She was a post-doctoral fellow in Human Genetics at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 1979-1982.  Dr. Pulver began the Epidemiology-Genetics Program in 1983 at the Maryland Psychiatric Research Center where she was on the faculty of The University of Maryland Medical School. In 1989, Dr. Pulver left the University of Maryland and joined the faculty at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.  Her research has been focused on developing an understanding of the biological bases of schizophrenia and other psychiatric disorders.   See Scientific Publications for a bibliography of publications and their abstracts
