 The transition to Epic at The Johns Hopkins Hospital is occurring in phases:

  • On June 27, 2013, all Johns Hopkins Hospital outpatient clinics, except Pediatric practices, converted to EpicCare Ambulatory.
  • On August 15, 2013, the Pediatric practices at JHH converted to EpicCare Ambulatory.
  • Within the next few years, inpatient functions at The Johns Hopkins Hospital will convert to Epic.
