Achieving a single enterprise system at Johns Hopkins

The implementation of Epic at Johns Hopkins and the establishment of a true enterprise system will take several years. We anticipate achievement of a single, unified EMR across our ambulatory and inpatient care settings by 2015. The rollout is scheduled as follows: 

Ambulatory First

As of April 2013, Epic applications are now being implemented in over 600 separate clinics and Ambulatory care settings. Learn more about the Ambulatory First rollout.

Johns Hopkins Community Physicians

Community Division

Epic will be implemented – for ambulatory as well as inpatient applications - at Howard County General Hospital and Sibley Memorial Hospital in June 2013 and Suburban in April 2016.
