Research interests
Dr. Ladenson’s research interests have been effects of thyroid hormone on the cardiovascular system, applications of thyroid hormone analogs, novel approaches to thyroid cancer diagnosis and management, and health economic analyses related to thyroid patient care. Currently, Dr. Ladenson is investigating effects of the thyroid hormone analog diiodothyroproprionic acid on cardiac function and lipoprotein metabolism, and applications of BRAF mutation analysis and recombinant thyrotropin in thyroid cancer management.
