|At the Johns Hopkins Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism, we are leaders in the pursuit of biomedical discovery related to Endocrine and Metabolism disorders. Our faculty members are advancing the science through both clinical and laboratory investigations, receiving over $4.4 million in federal and private grant awards in Fiscal Year 2013. Leaders in the field, our research is making breakthroughs in Diabetes prevention, the effects of HIV infection, the treatment of thyroid cancer, and much more|
Utilizing over 4,600 square feet of research space, our labs in the Ross and Hunterian buildings provide our investigators with the tools needed to conduct basic science research. With six principle investigators engaged in 18 separate studies, our Division frequently collaborates with many other subspecialties. Through our Division’s Clinical Trials Unit, we are able to bring the latest treatments to our patients, as our highly trained and experienced staff provides the resources and expertise needed to support our investigators in achieving their research goals.
