Dr. Levy joined the faculty of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2009. He completed his training in the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2009 after serving as Chief Resident (2008-2009). He is currently an attending physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Howard County General Hospital and the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Levy is also an active member of the Department of Emergency Medicine's Divsion of Special Operations and is a Senior Medical Officer with the Center for Law Enforcement Medicine. He has a special interest in prehosptial and disaster medicine. Dr. Levy has active roles in the EMS, Disaster and Tactical Medicine communities. Dr. Levy is a Tactical Physician with the Maryland State Police as well as Howard County Police. He is also the Founding Commander of the Maryland-1 Disaster Medical Assistance Team. Dr. Levy is the Medical Director of the Paramedic Program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Dr. Levy is the Associate Medical Director of Howard County Fire & Rescue and is the EMS Base Station Medical Director for Howard County General Hospital.
