Background

Dr. Berrett studied medicine at St George’s University graduating in 2007.  He completed a surgical internship in the Bronx New York followed by his Emergency Medicine residency at Lincoln Medical Center.  During his senior year of residency he served as the program ultrasound coordinator and was honored as resident of the year.  Dr. Berrett also founded a Bronx based motorcycle club composed of emergency health care professionals that promotes motorcycle safety.  His other interests include outdoor sports, hiking, river rafting, and cycling.   He worked several years as a white-water river guide on Idaho’s Middle Fork of the Salmon River, and completed the 2011 Pan Massachusetts Challenge bikathon. Dr. Berrett joins the Department of Emergency Medicine Faculty as a Fellow of the Division of Special Operations and Tactical Medicine.
