Students living off campus will find multiple options for commuting to campus. From trains and the Light Rail to shuttles, driving and buses, there are plenty of ways to get around town. Learn more about parking and transportation.
A wide variety of student groups are also available for graduate students, including the Johns Hopkins Marathon Team, the Biomedical Scholars Association, Johns Hopkins Dance and the Graduate Student Association (GSA), just to name a few. The GSA serves as a voice of the students to the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine administration. The group also organizes several social events every year, including a whitewater rafting trip, and offers travel scholarships so students can attend scientific meetings.
