Deidra N. Bishop
Deidra N. Bishop was appointed Director of Community Affairs for East Baltimore for the Johns Hopkins Institutions in 2004. Immediately prior to joining Johns Hopkins, Deidra served as Executive Assistant for Transportation Legislative Affairs for the City of Baltimore’s Department of Transportation. Prior to returning to Baltimore City government in 2002, Deidra served as Chief of Staff to U.S. Representative Elijah E. Cummings.
Pamela Bechtel has been with East Baltimore Community Affairs since 2010. Prior to being appointed Assistant Director, Pamela served as a Program Development Coordinator, increasing the number and variety of the department's community outreach initiatives. Before joining Johns Hopkins, Pamela worked as a corporate Marketing and Sponsorship Manager.
Carolyn Chance, a Program Development Coordinator for East Baltimore Community Affairs, has been with the department since 2004. Before coming to Johns Hopkins, Carolyn held positions in government and corporate administrations.
Sherry Fluke joined Johns Hopkins in 2013 as the Financial Manager for the department. She has her M.B.A. from The Pennsylvania State University. Prior to Johns Hopkins, Sherry was a co-owner of a telecommunications business and previous to that, she was the Regional Director of Financial and Information Systems for Vanguard Cellular Systems/AT&T.
