Recalling a Nursing Career
I worked at The Johns Hopkins Hospital from 1956 to 1979 and was assistant director of surgical nursing when I resigned. Those 23 years were unbelievable. I had the opportunity to work with doctors Alfred Blalock, Helen Taussig and many others. What a wonderful building block for a nursing career.
Now my neighbor works at Hopkins Hospital and gives me a copy of Dome to read each month. When I read it, all the memories come back. What a wonderful, informative publication. Keep up the good work!
