Million Dollar Day
The 23rd annual Children’s Miracle Network Telethon, which aired live on ABC2, WMAR-TV on Sunday June 4, met its goal of a “million dollar day.” Anchors and reporters interviewed patients, families, physicians and staff. Since its inception in 1984, the Telethon has raised more than $36 million. Funds support Children’s Center patient care, including Child Life and bereavement and child safety programs.
