| Fond Memories
I attended Mount St. Agnes High School in Mt. Washington (“Mt.
Washington: The New Destination,” March), graduating
in 1954. What a beautiful campus it was in the winter, with snow on the
trees, and in spring, with all the trees beginning to blossom. The Octagon
building was home to the Mount St. Agnes Lower School for Girls and the
McCauley Building housed not only Mount St. Agnes College but also the
high school. Not too many years after I graduated, the Mount was phased
out when Mercy High School opened. I loved the school and the campus and
regret that the high school and lower school were not mentioned in your
article.
