Med Students Volunteer in East Baltimore

Wow! Your article on Constantine Dematracopoulos and fellow medical students (“Urban Cowboys,” April) and the clinic they have established was so powerful. It shows there truly are people who are genuine and honest about their desire to care for others. I was moved by this gentlemen and fellow students who have come in, identified a problem and need [at the Men’s Center], gotten funding, and taken action. This is a true example of caring. Bravo and keep up your inspiring work.

Robert L. Napper. Jr., R.N., M.S.N.
Surgical nursing shift coordinator, JHH

The article was really fantastic. I hope that now we'll be able to generate even more support throughout the institution to get more free labs and supplies for the clinic. Thanks.

Constantine Demetracopoulos,
MS I

Great article, great picture!

Medical Mission Abroad

The article about Dr. Patrick Byrne’s trip to Ecuador (“Operation Ecuador,” April) is very well done. Thank you for helping to spread the word about the great work these Johns Hopkins employees are doing through the Ecuadent Foundation.

Revamped HR

Thanks for the great article on the HR redesign (“The New Face of JHH Human Resources,” April). You captured just the right tone and goal of HR. Everyone thinks we're on the right track.
