Michael Eric Zenilman, MD

A specialist in gastrointestinal, pancreatico-biliary and geriatric surgery, Michael E. Zenilman, M.D., joined Johns Hopkins as vice chair and regional directory of surgery to oversee the surgery services delivered at Johns Hopkins Medicines three community hospitals, Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, Md., Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., and Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Md. In that role, Zenilman will work with leaders at the hospitals to develop a truly regional health care delivery system and ensure that safety, quality and service standards in surgical care at each location are among the best practices in the field and that our patients throughout the region are best served. He operates a clinical practice out of Suburban Hospital.
