Dr. Brennecke is a radiologist specializing in breast imaging. She is the Medical Director of Johns Hopkins Imaging practice at Green Spring Station. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and completed her radiology residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. She earned a fellowship in ultrasound at Johns Hopkins.

Her areas of expertise include breast imaging (mammography, tomosynthesis, ultrasound, and MRI), and image-guided biopsy, as well as general body ultrasound.
