Bio

Biography
Dr. Linda N Lee is the 2012-2013 fellow in the Johns Hopkins Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Lee comes to Johns Hopkins from Harvard Medical School where she spent five years training in head and neck surgery at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Dr. Lee will be training with Drs. Patrick Byrne, Kofi Boahene and Lisa Ishii, with clinical interests focused on cosmetic facial surgery, facial reanimation procedures for patients with facial paralysis, reconstructive surgery for patients who have undergone cancer resections, and repair of traumatic facial injuries.

While at Harvard, Dr. Lee performed clinical research on facial analysis and facial reconstruction and reanimation. Under the guidance of facial plastic surgeons Drs. Mack Cheney and Tessa Hadlock, she was able to publish this work in several peer-reviewed journals. She was recently awarded a first place prize for her presentation on a minimally-invasive approach to repairing facial fractures, and an award for Excellence in Teaching from the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary/Harvard Medical School residents. Additionally, while in Boston, she served as a member of the Harvard Otolaryngology Residency Selection committee.

Dr. Lee is passionate about international health, and has spent time on medical mission trips in Peru, Cuba and Thailand. In 2011, she received a Humanitarian Travel Grant by the AAO-HNS for a medical mission trip to Antigua, Guatemala to perform cleft lip and palate surgery.
