Biography
Dr. Butler specializes in intraocular inflammation in addition to general ophthalmological disease. His research interests include the pathogenesis and treatment of uveitic cystoid macular edema and infectious causes of uveitis. He has a continued interest in international ophthalmology as a volunteer clinician, educator and researcher. After completing his medical training, Dr. Butler spent six months in India providing medical and surgical care to indigent patients with eye disease.
