Bio

Biography
A colon and rectal surgeon whose clinical focus includes colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, fecal incontinence and anorectal disorders, Dr. Efron joins Johns Hopkins Medicine from the Mayo Clinic.

He is an expert in minimally invasive and robotic procedures and colostomy-sparing procedures, such as ileal pouch anal anastomosis.

He also has a particular interest in the management of recurrent rectal cancer.
