Bio

Biography
Dr. Margaret Skinner is an assistant professor with the Department of OtolaryngologyHead and Neck Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Skinners clinical interests include general pediatric otolaryngology, disorders of the pediatric airway, congenital anomalies and tumors of the head and neck, sinus and endoscopic surgery, and chronic ear disease and hearing loss. Dr. Skinners research efforts have focused on disorders of the pediatric airway.

Dr. Skinner has received several accolades for her clinical practice and research, including a University Research Committee resident research grant from the Medical University of South Carolina and recognition for the best record in otorhinolaryngology at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Dr. Skinner is a member of the American Academy of OtolaryngologyHead and Neck Surgery and the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Skinner earned her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and her medical degree from the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. She completed a residency in otolaryngologyhead and neck surgery and general surgery internship at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Skinner completed a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Childrens Hospital Boston and served as a Clinical Fellow in Otology and Laryngology at Harvard Medical School.
