Biography
Dr. Ines Guttmann-Bauman graduated from University of Zagreb Medical School in Zagreb, Croatia. She received residency training in pediatrics at SUNY Hospital in Brooklyn, NY and completed her fellowship training in pediatric endocrinology at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City. Dr. Guttman-Bauman served as an assistant professor of Pediatrics at North Eastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine (NEOUCOM) while working in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at Akrons Childrens Hospital in Akron OH from 1998-2000. Dr. Guttmann-Bauman worked at Childrens National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., in the division of Pediatric Endocrinology and was appointed assistant professor of Pediatrics at George Washington University.
Dr. Guttmann-Bauman joined Hopkins Childrens in 2004. Her clinical activities include both general pediatric endocrinology and pediatric diabetes clinics. She is currently involved in several clinical studies in the areas of diabetes and growth.
