Bio

Biography
Dr. Dackiw is an endocrine surgeon, specializing in minimally invasive endocrine tumor surgery including surgery of the adrenal, thyroid, parathyroid and endocrine pancreas. He is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Johns Hopkins University in
the Division of Surgical Oncology,
Section of Endocrine Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He completed his general
surgical training and PhD at the University of Toronto in 1998 and then completed a surgical oncology fellowship at MD
Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas followed by an endocrine surgery fellowship in San Francisco, California with Dr. Orlo Clark.

His clinical interest is minimally invasive endocrine tumor surgery including surgery of the adrenal, thyroid, parathyroid and endocrine pancreas and his research interests include endocrine tumor genetics, familial tumor syndromes, intra-operative nerve monitoring and endocrine organ development and neoplasia.
