Rebecca Appel Kazin, MD

Dr. Rebecca Kazin is the Director of the Johns Hopkins Cosmetic Center at Green Spring Station. She is a board certified dermatologist and Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Johns Hopkins University. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. In addition, Dr. Kazin is a clinical investigator for laser surgery and has authored several manuscripts and book chapters on dermatology, internal medicine, and plastic surgery. She lectures nationally and trains physicians in the proper techniques for non-invasive cosmetic surgery. Her interviews have been featured regularly on television, radio and in local and national newspapers including the Baltimore Sun, Wall Street Journal, and National Public Radio.

A native of Baltimore, she pursued her Medical Degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Kazin completed her residency training in Internal Medicine and Dermatology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where she served as chief resident.

Dr. Kazin is an expert in cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, as well as general dermatology.
