I was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts and raised primarily in the Hartford, Connecticut area. As the daughter of a mathematician and a teacher, who became an attorney later in life, I became interested in Medicine watching the physicians who cared for my mother through sarcoidosis and then breast cancer. In the last year of medical school I fell in love with Pediatrics because of the emphasis on health care maintenance and prevention and because of the joy it brought me. After more than 20 years in practice I wholeheartedly enjoy caring for children from birth through adolescence and into early adulthood and strive to provide the excellent care we all deserve.
