Bio
Biography
Dr. John Conte joined the faculty at Johns Hopkins in 1998 to direct the Heart and Lung Transplant programs. Since that time both programs have achieved or maintained Medicare approval and have achieved excellent clinical and academic productivity.
Dr. Conte directs the divisions activities in heart failure surgery and the Hopkins program is one of the most thorough and well-rounded programs in the country. Hopkins has active programs in Surgical Ventricular Remodeling (SVR), mechanical circulatory support device implantation, and valvular and coronary artery surgery in patients with significant cardiac dysfunction.
