Bio

Biography
As Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics and Director of the John M. Freeman Pediatric Epilepsy Center, Dr. Eileen Vining is a national and international expert in the diagnosis and management of children with epilepsy. She is particularly interested in an approach that treats the whole child by considering the social, educational and behavioral aspects of epilepsy as well as the most modern medical and surgical therapies. This is reflected in the book that she co-authored, "Seizures and Epilepsy in Childhood: A Guide."

Dr. Vining currently sees children who have seizures in the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center located in Baltimore on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
