Bio

Biography
A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and a graduate of the Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Dr. Nancy A. Hueppchen received her medical degree from the Mercer University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at The Naval Medical Center, San Diego, California in Obstetrics and Gynecology. At the completion of her residency, she went on to a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Hueppchen then completed her tour of duty in the United States Navy as Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services School of Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland.

Dr. Hueppchen joined the faculty of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in September of 2002, and is currently an Assistant Dean of Curriculum in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. Dr. Hueppchen is the Director of High Risk Obstetrics at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and also Director of Medical Student Clerkship. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine, a Diplomat of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and is a member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the Association for Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics, and the Howard A. Kelly Gynecology and Obstetric Society.

Dr. Hueppchen''s interests include fetal ultrasound abnormalities, genetic conditions, abnormal maternal serum screening, prenatal diagnosis, and resident and medical student education. She performs a full range of prenatal diagnostic procedures, including obstetric ultrasound, Doppler studies, amniocentesis, and chorionic villus sampling (CVS).

Dr. Hueppchen sees patients for ultrasound and ultrasound-related consultations in the Prenatal Diagnosis and Treatment Center at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Her outpatient Gynecology and Obstetric practice, including High Risk Obstetrics practice and Genetics consultations, is at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center outpatient site.
