Bio
Biography
Dr. Howard Francis has special expertise and interests in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the ear and skull base. Dr. Howard is the director and a member of the cochlear implant team of the Johns Hopkins Listening Center and is director of the Johns Hopkins Temporal Bone Micro-Surgical Laboratory.
As a member of the Caribbean Association of Otolaryngologists, Dr. Francis has partnered with local Otolaryngology-Head and Neck surgeons to establish cochlear implant services in the English-speaking Caribbean, including Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago. He has been the medical director of TTHSI for 3 years. He heads the Surgical Education Resource Initiative in the Johns Hopkins Swami Institute of International Medical Education.
As a member of the Caribbean Association of Otolaryngologists, Dr. Francis has partnered with local Otolaryngology-Head and Neck surgeons to establish cochlear implant services in the English-speaking Caribbean, including Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.
