Bio

Biography
Dr. Benjamin Carson is the Director of the Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Carson focuses on spina bifida, chiari malformations, brain tumors, achondroplasia, neurological and congenital disorders, craniosynostosis, skull lesions and trigeminal neuralgia. He is also interested in maximizing the intellectual potential of every child.

An internationally renowned physician, Dr. Carson has authored over 150 neurosurgical publications, along with four best-selling books, and has been awarded 66 honorary doctorate degrees, The Presidential Medal of Freedom and dozens of national merit citations.

Dr. Carson sees patients on Monday afternoons and Fridays at The Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center located in Baltimore.
