1-Day "Skills for Surviving with Diabetes" Class

Newly diagnosed? Our one day class "Skills for Surviving with Diabetes" provides a quick summary of what newly diagnosed patients need to know to manage their diabetes. During this class you will receive education from our complete diabetes care team, including a nurse educator, pharmacist, and nutritionist.  The class covers such topics as how to check blood sugars, nutrition basics, and complications due to diabetes, among others. Many of our attendees follow the class with a one-on-one meeting with our nurse practitioner or dietitian.
