Survival Skills for Diabetes- 1 day class

Newly diagnosed?  Survival Skills for Diabetes, a one-day class, provides a summary of what newly-diagnosed patients need to know to manage their diabetes.  During this class you will receive education from our complete diabetes care team, including a nurse educator, pharmacist, and nutritionist.

Topics covered in this class include:

  • How to check blood sugars
  • Nutrition basics
  • Complications due to diabetes
  • ...and much more!

Many of our attendees follow the class with a one-on-one meeting with a nurse practitioner or dietitian.
