You will need QuickTime Player to view
many of the images in this site.
By downloading QuickTime, you will be able to display both QuickTime movies and QuickTime Virtual Reality (QTVR). The interactive QTVR images in this site are based on CT data that exists presently within the Richtsmeier Lab, Department of Cell Biology and Anatomy at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.Using a volumetric rendering program and QuickTime Virtual Reality Authoring Studio, rotational objects were created that allows one to interactively move, manipulate and view the anatomy of the skull as if it were a three-dimensional object. At present this site is a work-in-progress, and acts as a prototype for further site production. Tell us what you think.
