About Us: Mission

The goal of the Center for Craniofacial Development and Disorders is to increase our understanding of normal and abnormal craniofacial development.

  • To foster integrated biomedical, behavioral, social science, and health services research
  • To facilitate transfer of basic, clinical, and applied research to effective health care interventions and marketable products
  • To promote education of scientists, health care professionals and the public concerning the cause, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of craniofacial disease and disorders
  • To enhance multidisciplinary clinical services and related programs: screening, diagnosis, management, and counseling

The purpose of this Web site is to serve as an educational and interactive resource for families, physicians, and researchers facing craniofacial developmental issues and to inform the public about activities at our Center.
