Holiday Gift Giving 2007 

JHHS Community Services is sponsoring the Community of Caring Holiday Event again this year.  Johns Hopkins faculty and staff can choose to sponsor one or more children.  The families are neighbors of JHMI and residents of the Baltimore City Healthy Start program's East Baltimore Division.

HOW TO SPONSOR A CHILD

1. Choose a family of children, or a child to sponsor from the list. (you will see a box to select next to each name.)
    
2. Enter your registration information connected to the children you are sponsoring. It is vital that you register for this event. Email Carolyn Chance at cchance8@jhmi.edu if you have any questions about this step.
    
3. Use the list of "favorite things" to shop for the children. This list includes the children's first names, ages, and "favorite things." This is not intended to be a wish list, but merely a list of general interests that you can use when shopping for the child or family that you have selected to sponsor. You may purchase as many gifts as you desire for each child/family. We ask that when shopping for the several children within one family, you give an equal number (or value) of gifts to each child.
    
4. Identify your gifts by family number and bring the gifts WRAPPED between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. December 14-20.  The location is to be provided by e-mail at a later date.  We ask that you please give the gifts directly to Carolyn Chance or Charmaine Campbell. Please do not drop off the gifts without speaking to one of these staff members. We have a very small staff and we would appreciate your delivering the gifts because pick-up is unavailable.

Indicate "Holiday Gift Giving" on the check. All financial donations will be used specifically for the holiday project.

We are not able to accept food donations, however if you wish to contribute food for the family, we suggest a gift card from a grocery store.
