Pediatric Burn Unit

The Johns Hopkins Children's Center treats burn patients under the age of 15 and is designated by the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems (MIEMSS) as Baltimore's regional burn center. The burn team at Hopkins Children's includes specialists from critical care and anesthesiology, general surgery, reconstructive and plastic surgery, pain management, rehabilitation, infectious diseases, psychology, psychiatry, nursing, child life, social work and injury prevention.
