| Barbara Smith is Administrative Manager of the Johns Hopkins Brain Science Institute (BSI). Ms. Smith has worked for the University for 15 years, the last 10 years acting as Executive Assistant to Jack Griffin in his capacity as Director of Neurology. Her knowledge of the Johns Hopkins University, along with her familiarity with the brain science faculty and staff, allows Ms. Smith to be extraordinarily effective in planning and organizing research programs and events for the BSI. Aditya Polsani is the Industrial Liaison Associate of the Johns Hopkins Brain Science Institute (BSI). Mr. Polsani also serves as an industrial liaison in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and he has worked with the Office of Technology Licensing. Because of his understanding of both of these departments, Mr. Polsani is uniquely positioned to effectively navigate the complexities of evaluating neuroscience discoveries and linking them to appropriate corporations and foundations. Yvette Johnson-White is the Financial Manager of the Johns Hopkins Brain Science Institute (BSI). Ms. Johnson-White oversees the management and administration of government, private, and commercial grants and contracts, endowment, gift and general funds budgets to support research and educational needs. She holds a BS degree in Economics and Business Management from Towson University and is pursuing a MBA degree from the Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins.
