Summer Johnson is a Jacob Javits Doctoral Fellowship recipient working on her third year of the PhD Program in Bioethics and Health Policy. She became a PhD candidate in December 2004 and is finishing her dissertation on presidential bioethics commissions and their impacts on public bioethics. Summer has recently published articles on presidential bioethics commissions, intergenerational justice in the developing world, and attitudes on genetic testing and screening. She also has co-authored book chapters on bioethics commissions around the world and public health research ethics. |
