Ingrid Burger is a MD/PhD student who has completed three years of medical school in the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and is beginning her third year in the PhD program in Health Policy and Management with a focus in Bioethics. Her clinical interests are in diagnostic and interventional radiology and her research interests involve ethics and policy issues concerning the emergence and diffusion of medical technology. Her dissertation work focuses on ethics and policy issues related to direct-to-consumer marketing of CT screening services to the public. She is a recipient of a Medical Scientist Training Program award and a one-year fellowship from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.
