Margaret R. Moon, MD, MPH is Assistant Professor of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. She has a joint appointment in the Section of Adolescent Medicine and in the Pediatric Emergency Department. She completed a fellowship in Clinical Medical Ethics at the McLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics of the University of Chicago. Dr. Moon was a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar at the University of Chicago. She is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health, and holds a BS from Michigan State University. Dr. Moon divides her clinical time between the Johns Hopkins Adolescent Clinic, and its affiliated school-based health centers, and the Johns Hopkins Pediatric Emergency Department where she teaches residents in the urgent care setting. Dr. Moon is interested in ethics education in the clinical and pre-clinical setting, ethics and professionalism in outpatient care, empiric evaluation of the outcomes of ethics education and issues of consent and confidentiality in adolescent medicine. |
