The Honorable Diana Gribbon Motz was appointed by President Clinton to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in June, 1994. Prior to her appointment, Judge Motz served on the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland from 1991 to 1994. Before that, she was a partner with Frank, Bernstein, Conway & Goldman (1986 to 1991) and was chief of litigation in the Maryland Attorney General’s Office (1981 to 1986). Judge Motz is a member of the American Law Institute and a fellow of the American Bar Foundation and the Maryland Bar Foundation. She is a trustee of The Johns Hopkins University and The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She serves on the Operating Committee for Johns Hopkins Medicine. |
