Prema Mathai-Davis has an undergraduate degree from Delhi University and holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University. She is the former CEO of the YWCA of the U.S.A. While Director, she launched the largest grassroots anti-violence campaign in the world, with over 40 countries on six continents participating. She also chaired the first World Conference on family violence. Before joining the YWCA she served as Commissioner of the New York City Department of Aging. |
